Young Thug Reunites with T.I. Following Release and Probation Sentence
Young Thug is officially out of jail, but he isn’t waiting to see his people again. After spending the last few years in prison, Young Thug officially agreed to a plea deal and is now a free man. In his first public appearance following his release, he was seen hanging out with Atlanta rapper, T.I. Harris.
In a post on Instagram, T.I. shows off him, Thug, and his son, Domani, hanging out in the studio. The video was posted to T.I’s Instagram early Tuesday morning. The video is captioned with “Yeahhhhh YKWTFGO. The Kings have Reconvened. #KingJeffrey #KingSr Guess I’m officially outta retirement For tonight “
Young Thug Released
Young Thug was officially released from jail on Halloween after reaching a plea after receiving 15 years of probation. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker allowed for Thug’s release that same day as the hearing. “I know you’re talented, and if you choose to continue to rap, you need to try to use your influence to let kids know that is not the way to go and that there are ways out of poverty besides hooking up with the powerful guy at the end of the street selling drugs,” Whitaker said.
Thug went to jail back in May 2022 and has been held without bond since. The YSL RICO has been the longest in history in Atlanta. Now, looks like Thug is out and back in the studio with T.I. for some fresh, new music. The duo has worked together in the past, so we wonder where they will be now. In the video, Thug says “Back, baby” and follows that up with “No cap in my rap!”
Whether or not we will be hearing new music from the pair soon, we’re unsure. But, now that Young Thug is out, people are wondering what to expect from his music moving forward. During his trial, multiple songs and specific lyrics were brought up to be used against him so many fans are wondering what his music will sound like moving forward. Only time will tell.
