21 Savage Doesn’t Think Nas Is Relevant

Nas is one of the greatest and most influential rappers of all time. The New York rapper began his career when he recorded demos for Large Professor. His debut album 'Illmatic' was released in 1994 and gained critical acclaim and later was inducted into the library of Congress's National Recording Registry. His second album 'It Was Written' which was released in 1996 contained the song "If I Ruled The World" with Fugees rapper Lauryn Hill. That song and album propelled Nas even further into hip-hop icon status. Although Nas is considered to be one of the greatest rappers, the New York native is used to being dismissed when it comes to being on the receiving end of awards. Just last year, Nas received his first Grammy win for "Best Rap Album" at the 63rd Grammy Awards for 'King's Disease'. He had been nominated for a Grammy 14 times prior.

21 Savage Doesn’t Think Nas Is Relevant

Nas, one of the most legendary hip hop artists dropped a new album! Last Friday “King’s Disease III” dropped. Produced by Hit–Boy, it’s filled with a lot of clever lyrics and insane beats. Following the album release, Nas’s home got burglarized while he was out in NYC for the album release party. No arrests have been made yet. So, while Nas is out here celebrating his new album, and dealing with his house getting broken into, 21 Savage decided to come in and throw some more fire to the flame.

21 Savage was on Clubhouse and the discussion involved Nas’s new album “King’s Disease III”. Someone asked, “Is Nas the greatest rapper.” 21 Savage said that he “didn’t feel like Nas was relevant and that he just has a loyal fan base and makes good music”.  According to The Shaderoom, a lot of people are not happy with 21 Savage’s comments including his brother Jungle. Jungle, stepped in and called 21 Savage Trash.
