Diddy Faces 120 New Sexual Abuse Allegations In Growing Case
The legal cases against Sean “Diddy” Combs continue to escalate. Following his arrest on Sept. 16 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, 120 individuals have now come forward with new allegations of sexual assault. It’s important to note that this story involves graphic violence and sexual abuse.
“We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors,” Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the 120 accusers, stated during an Oct. 1 press conference, as reported by Click2Houston. “We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.”
Buzbee revealed that his team had gathered “pictures, video, texts” that would expose “many powerful people … many dirty secrets.” The allegations against Combs, he explained, involve “violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, [and] sexual abuse of minors.”
“It’s a long list already,” he added, “but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make sure, damn sure we are right before we do that. These names will shock you.”
The attorney went on to say that over 3,000 individuals had come forward with accusations against Combs and that lawsuits would be filed in several states within the next 30 days. He also mentioned that additional defendants would be named later.
During the press conference, Buzbee noted that 25 of the accusers were minors at the time of the alleged incidents, including one who was just 9 years old.
However, Combs’ legal team firmly denies all allegations.
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” his attorney Erica Wolff said, according to E! News. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”
She continued, “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
Combs remains in custody after being denied bail on Sept. 17. He has pleaded not guilty to the current charges and awaits his status hearing on Oct. 9.
According to USA TODAY, Combs’ legal team on Monday submitted a notice of appeal to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Buzbee, known for handling large-scale litigation, previously represented victims in lawsuits against Live Nation, Travis Scott, and others following the 2021 Astroworld music festival disaster, with some cases still pending.
