LaTheGoat hangs backstage at WiLD Splash on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Albert Whitted Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. Tampa’s Own, LaTheGoat has been a major influence on the Tampa music scene. He was found by music mogul & producer Jermaine Dupri through Instagram rapping on “Money Ain’t A Thing”. After Jermaine started seeing all the tags come through and heard 8 Bands, he immediately reached out to him and Inking the deal with Def Jam Recordings. Due to the success of 8 Bandz, Rick Ross jumped on to do the remix, which took it to another level. He’s consistently putting out new music, and his lyrical style in unmatchable.
