Another LIT concert rolled into Tampa Bay on Saturday, August 19 at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre. 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes brought The Final Lap Tour to Tampa over the weekend and it was a party for multiple generations. Last week we kicked off the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop with a Snoop Dogg show, now we kept the party rolling with 50 and Busta.
People of all ages were at this show ready to get down. This tour marks 50 Cent’s final run of performing (hence the tour name: The Final Lap). The tour showcased his biggest hits and allowed fans to travel back in time to the early 2000’s with hits like “In Da Club” and “Candy Shop”.

Busta Rhymes opened the show and got the crowd hyped for 50. It’s so impressive to see how fast he can rap in person. You know he sang his big hits like “I Know What You Want”, “Make It Clap”, and of course his iconic verse from “Look At Me Now”.
The crowd went WiLD as 50 Cent hit the stage. The scene was set with stunning visuals and impressive production design. He opened his set with “I’m On Some Sh-“, “What Up Gansta”, and “I Get Money”. 50 even covered some iconic songs like “Birthday Sex” and “Down on Me” by Jeremih as well as “Crack A Bottle” by Eminem, and more!
