In addition to the 15-track LP, the Ohio native’s Netflix animated series of the same name has also been released on the streaming platform.

The series features Cudi’s character, Jabari, who Consequence describes as a “charming, creative visionary.” Jabari is best friends with Jimmy and Jimmy’s character is a weed dealer who now is shifting gears to be a “crypto bro.” Meadow, played by Jessica Williams, is Jabari’s love interest and is a budding photographer. Downtown Pat who is described as a “downtown legend and life-long, city-wide delinquent” is played by Macaulay Culkin.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Cudi spoke about his longevity in hip-hop. “I never imagined I would have this many albums. So right now, I feel extremely blessed to be able to do what I’m doing at this stage in my career.”
He continued, “It’s one of those things where I’ve been able to grow with the times but still remain myself. And that’s an art form in itself because we’ve seen it with other artists. Some artists don’t stand the test of time.”
