Lionel Richie To Be Judge On American Idol

Well…seems like contracts were finally signed!
For months there’s been rumors that ABC was trying to bag Lionel Richie for the revamp of American Idol. There were speculations that the salary was an issue and Richie wouldn’t budge. Come on… the guy is a Commodore, give him the money to seal the deal!
Looks like they finally came to an agreement because Richie took to social media this afternoon to announce that he will be joining Luke Bryan and Katy Perry as a judge this season.
We hope he graces the stage a few times and gets us dancing on te ceiling!
