“Surviving R. Kelly”: John Legend Says “It Didn’t Feel Risky at All” to Appear
Friday kicked off night one of three for the Lifetime docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly.
The docuseries discussed the sexual abuse allegations against R. Kelly with minor girls.
Singer John Legend was one of the few celebrities who would participate in the series.
Producer Dream Hampton reached out to people like Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Erykah Badu and more. They all said no.
John Legend said, it didn’t feel risky at all participating in the docuseries. I believe these women and don’t give a f– about protecting a child serial rapist.
