Kevin Gates Rushed Offstage Amid Gunshots Fired During Texas Show
Over the weekend, rapper Kevin Gates was rushed off stage during a concert in Texas due to gunshots erupting.
The “2 Phones” rapper was performing at the Concrete Street Amphitheater in Corpus Christi when the shots were fired, according to TMZ.
The gunfire transpired just when Gates was about to wrap up his set around 11:30 p.m.
The Baton Rouge rapper’s security swiftly snatched him off the stage as the crowd rushed to exit the outdoor venue.
Police were on the scene to assist concert goers in exiting the event. After an investigation, police determined that the gunshots didn’t come from inside the venue, but from an adjacent neighborhood.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the concert.
