Jessie Reyez Releases ‘Imported’ Video Featuring 6lack
Today (Apr. 10), Jessie Reyez released the video for her single “Imported” featuring 6lack.
The Toronto singer announced the release via her Instagram page.
The video starts off with Reyez walking out of an apartment bathroom while glancing at 6lack who’s in another room.
“Hi my name is 6lack, and sometimes people call me 6-lack. I don’t mind because they stubborn and my bank account is looking mighty fine,” 6lack sings on the first verse.
“We can skip the wine and dine. Go straight for the wine and grind. She wanna c** I can make it happen. F*** trying.”
Reyez and 6lack then sit back to back in separate chairs in an empty room while singing.
“Hi my name is not important. I’m not from here. I’m imported,” Reyez sings on the second verse.
“I drink liquor like it’s water. Hope my liver can afford it. I’ve been lying here but. I’ve been lying. I’ve been lying.”
A melancholy Reyez then sits in a tub filled with water with her clothes on while splashing before sliding underneath the water.
The video concludes with Reyez and 6lack laying on the ground next to each other. The two make a short glance and then look away.
