Facebook Will Pay Users for Info on Their App Usage
Would you let Facebook track your app usage if you got paid for it?
The social media giant plans to roll out an app that will compensate users for information about which apps they’re using.
Facebook tried this once before but was shut down over privacy concerns and potentially violating Apple’s App Store ‘terms of agreement.’
The new app will collect information about which apps you are using, and for how long, in an effort to give Facebook valuable insight into how you use its competitors’ services.
Facebook is not saying how much it will pay participants to share their information, but for the right price would you do it?
