Katy Perry Gets Candid With Fans About Depression During Coronavirus Pandemic
Katy Perry went to Twitter to get unusually candid with fans about how she is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. In the tweet, she revealed that it is taking a toll on her mentally. “Sometimes i don’t know what’s worse trying to avoid the virus or the waves of depression that come with this new norm,” she wrote.

Because her words were so honest and relatable, a lot of fans sending her words of encouragement. “This isn’t our norm forever. brighter days are ahead. sending you all my love,” one fan wrote, while another added, “i think it’s just the overall fear & uncertainty of the future.” One fan’s positive message read, “you’ve told us this but now it’s our turn to tell you: it’s okay to feel like this but we are getting through this and, specially you, have a great family around, you’re about to give birth to a new human being, things are brighter than they seem.”
Katy Perry has been keeping busy during quarantine, though. She has a baby girl on the way, she’s filming American Idol from home, and her new song “Daisies” will be out on Friday (March 15).
