Britney Spears Wants Jodi Montgomery To Stay When Conservatorship Ends
Britney Spears may want to have her conservatorship end as soon as possible, but she doesn’t want her personal conservator to leave.
Gossip website TMZ has learned that Britney, 39, wants Jodi Montgomery to stay on her payroll indefinitely.
Sources tell the gossip site that Britney has told her camp that Jodi has agreed to stay on to perform various tasks like dealing with her doctors, making appointments, making sure she takes the correct medications, arranging meals and chefs, handling the house staff, organizing recreational outings and more, if and when the conservatorship terminates.
The “Gimme More” singer has yet to file legal documents asking to end the conservatorship, but her lawyer Matt Rosengart said this is a 2-step process: getting Jamie out of the conservatorship, then terminating the conservatorship itself.
Jamie Spears’ filing earlier this week has changed things dramatically — he’s agreed to step down at the next hearing on September 29. Jamie filed documents asking the judge to terminate the conservatorship without a mental evaluation.
Both Britney and Rosengart have called this a major victory, so their next step is to file similar documents asking the judge to terminate the 13-year-long conservatorship once and for all.
