J. Cole & Bas Tease ‘Passport Bros’ Collab
J. Cole and Bas will be collaborating once again, and the better news is that we’ll be hearing the by the end of the week. On Saturday (July 15), Bas teased the duo on Twitter as he shared a photo of the two sitting side-by-side on a bench.
“Passports Bros ft. @JColeNC 7/19 @Dreamville,” Bas tweeted. “We Only Talk About Real S— When We’re F—– Up — album coming soon.”
It’s unclear if “Passport Bros” will be a full project or one single off of an upcoming project.
Whether its a song or album, this would be the third time the two have worked together. The two previously collabed on 2013’s “New York Times,” 2018’s “Tribe,” and 2021’s “l e t . g o . m y . h a n d.”

Bas says that he is an awe of Cole’s work ethic and shared his admiration for the North Carolina-bred emcee’s 2021 project.
“I got to work with him on the Off-Season and just seeing his work ethic and his commitment to working on his craft every day,” Bas told HipHopDX at the time. “I’m like, ‘Man, it’ll definitely make you feel like you’ve been slacking.'”
Cole previously teased that he is working on his album The Fall Off on his feature on Summer Walker’s “To Summer, From Cole (Audio Hug)” which dropped in May.
“I’m thinkin’ about ya, I heard you just had you another lil baby/ Congratulations, I hope you got through it with no complications/ I find it amazing, the way that you juggle your kids, the biz, the fame, the bitches that’s hatin’/ They sit around waiting for you to fall off like the album I’m making,” he raps on “To Summer From Cole”.
Most recently, the rapper teased that Drake will be a part of his next offering. Cole surprised fans at Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour stop in Montreal over the weekend.
