Unfortunately, the superstar producer did not give an exact release date. He said when the project is ready to be released, the “world will know.”
Metro Boomin and Future Previous Collaborations & Accolades
Metro and Future have collaborated this year on the Metro Boomin Presents Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse soundtrack from the film Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. The rapper joined the producer on “All The Way Live (Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse)” earlier this year. Additionally, Future joined him on Metro’s 2022 Heroes & Villains album on the songs “I Can’t Save You (Interlude)” and “Lock On Me” with Travis Scott. Heroes & Villains debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Metro was also named as one of TIME Magazine’s TIME100 Next as a trailblazer in the industry. John Legend wrote about him for TIME, a man of many talents as well. “I was struck by his sense of openness, humility, and creativity. As a collaborator, Metro always has great creative ideas, but what really sets him apart is his great energy,” Legend wrote about the Missouri rapper.
As for Future, his last album was the Grammy-winning I NEVER LIKED YOU last year. The album had guest appearances from Drake, Tems, Kodak Black, Gunna, Young Thug, Kanye, Babyface Ray, and more. “Wait For U,” which had Tems and Drake on the record, won for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. The win was Future’s second Grammy win and Tems’ first.
