Beyonce And Miley Cyrus Collaborate on ‘Cowboy Carter’ Track
This ain’t Texas, but it is Tennessee. Beyonce and Miley Cyrus are collaborating on a track on Bey’s Cowboy Carter. Per Consequence, the full tracklist with features was revealed ahead of the album’s upcoming North American release on Friday, March 29.
When Bey’s eighth studio album became available in international markets like New Zealand and Australia, it showed that artists Shaboozey, Miley Cyrus, and Post Malone are featured. The publication also notes the album is presented in the style of a country radio show, and making appearances as DJs are Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Linda Martell.
What Do Fans Think About Miley Cyrus Being Featured On Cowboy Carter?
The collaboration between Miley and Beyoncé seems random, but fans on X (formerly Twitter) have expressed their praise for the feature. “Miley and Beyonce on a track together….this is so unexpected,” commented one person. Another said, “The Hoedown Throwdown part II is coming [crying enoji].” A third wrote: “the collab we’ve been waiting and praying for.”
Another fan posted a snippet of Bey and Miley singing at a 2008 Stand Up 2 Cancer event, writing: “the day beyoncé saw a potential collaboration with miley cyrus.” One fan wrote, “Miley Cyrus really went from being one of the most sabotaged & underrated main artists of the century to be fully supported & celebrated by everyone to the point that now she is collaborating with THEE BEYONCÉ in II MOST WANTED for her new album COWBOY CARTER.”
As we recently reported, Miley’s godmother, the legendary Dolly Parton, will be covered by Bey on the country album. Posting to Instagram earlier this week, Beyoncé revealed a track titled “Jolene,” obviously Parton’s 1974 hit. MTV UK commented on Bey’s announcement: “DOLLY!!!!!” Miley has covered this song many times, both solo and with her godmother.
