Fans Upset Mac Miller Was Left Out of Emmys in Memoriam
Leaving Mac Miller out of the “In Memoriam” portion of the Emmys last night has fans upset and voicing their displeasure on Twitter.
During awards shows there’s always the segment where they honor those in the industry that lost their lives over the past year, and fans couldn’t believe they left him out.
One fan pointed out Miller’s MTV2 reality show that ran for two seasons as reason he should’ve been mentioned. Another fan simply said, “Wow. Hollywood is trash.”
Miller passed away on September 7 from a drug overdose. Other notables honored during the segment were Anthony Bourdain, Aretha Franklin, and Burt Reynolds.
