St. Pete Bars & Restaurants “Last Call” at 9PM
St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman is stepping up efforts to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. No events or public gathering of more than 50 will be allowed for the time being in the city. He says this applies to public and private gatherings, including things like parties and weddings. Restaurants, gyms, bars, movie theaters, and many other public businesses will have their capacity cut in half starting tomorrow. To give restaurants and bars “a fighting chance to endure,” last call for alcohol will be at 9 p.m. until further notice. “Late night revelry will not be allowed,” said the mayor in the statement below.
Public spaces like our parks and playgrounds will stay open, but Kriseman encourages residents to use common sense and keep that social distance. Here is the latest list of events that have been postponed or canceled here in Tampa Bay.
