Amid Losing DaBookings, DaBaby Issues Another Apology
DaBaby has apologized once again for his homophobic comments during his Rolling Loud performance amid being dropped from both Lollapalooza and [inlinkid=”dababy-dropped-governors-ball-homophobic-remarks” text=”Governors Ball”] within 24 hours of each other. His top-charting feature on pop singer Dua Lipa’s, “Levitating”, has also been dropped from playlists per TMZ.
The “Suge” rapper posted a lengthy apology to his Instagram saying in part, “I want to apologize to the LGBTQ+ community for the hurtful and triggering comments I made. Again, I apologize for my misinformed comments about HIV/AIDS and I know education on this is important. Love to all. God bless.”

The 29-year-old began his apology by blaming social media for not giving him “an opportunity to grow [and] educate” himself for his mistake, “Social media moves so fast that people want to demolish you before you even have the opportunity to grow, educate, and learn from your mistakes. As a man who has had to make his own way from very difficult circumstances, having people I know publicly working against me — knowing that what I needed was education on these topics and guidance — has been challenging.”
He then went on to thank the people who have treated him, “with kindness, who reached out to me privately to offer wisdom, education, and resources. That’s what I needed and it was received.”
Twitter responded to his third apology with the hashtag #DaBookings since the rapper got dropped from various festivals and lost his collection with BoohooMen.
Twitter users were quick to react to his newest apology:
