H.E.R. And Kane Brown Release A Soulful Ballad, ‘Blessed & Free’
R&B meets country music in a new soulful ballad from H.E.R. and Kane Brown called “Blessed & Free.”
The official music video and song dropped on YouTube Thursday with both artists singing about the simplicity of being thankful for everyday blessings. Some of the lyrics are, per Genius Lyrics:
‘Cause as long as my eyes still see
As long as my heart still beat
As long as I’m alive, I’m free
The music video accompanies both artists in dim to no lighting walking on different structures elegantly singing each line of the song.
This is the first time the two have collaborated but hopefully, it will not be the last.
H.E.R. has been keeping busy by partnering up with RBCxMusic with their First Up program that will help new Canadian artists hone their craft with “gained exposure through paid performance opportunities.” She also was recently photographed with Chlöe Bailey in the studio which sparked rumors about the two collaborating in the future.
