Kim Kardashian Says Pete Davidson Branded Her Name On His Body
Kim Kardashian got candid about her relationship with boyfriend Pete Davidson on Wednesday (March 16) on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I guess it’s not official until you post,” Kardashian joked to the host. “I have the cutest pictures of us and I want to be like, ‘Oh my God, we’re so cute!’ But then I’m like, ‘Don’t be so desperate, don’t be posting so much, just give a glimpse.’ I don’t know what the right thing to do is, like I haven’t dated since before Instagram existed. Yeah, I don’t know what the rules are.”
Kardashian made her relationship Instagram official on March 11. The mother of four, 41, shared two photos of herself and the Saturday Night Live comedian, 28. During the interview, Ellen told Kim, “I just want you to be happy, you deserve to be happy, and I’m happy that you’re happy — that’s all that matters. I see a shift in you, an ease to you, a whole different side. It’s a different you.”
“It feels good,” the SKIMS mogul responded. “I think it’s just in life, like no matter what it is, I just think I encourage my friends and the people that I love just to be happy. And I went for it. I was like, ‘You know what, I’m in my 40s like f— it, just go for it. Find your happiness.’ I went for it and I took my time. I found it and it feels so good. I want to hold on to that forever.”
Meanwhile, Kim revealed Pete’s latest tattoo of her name wasn’t a tattoo at all, but rather branded himself with a hot iron! When the host asked about the selfie Pete texted to Kanye, Kim coyly responded, “Yeah, he has a few tattoos, a few cute ones. But this one isn’t a tattoo — it’s actually a branding.” She made hand gestures to show exactly what she meant by branding adding, “Let me explain it! He wanted to do something that was really different. First tattoo he got, I was like, ‘Oh, so cute, thank you!’ Second, whatever, that’s so cute. That’s what tattoo people do, right, they get tattoos of what’s going on in their life?” She revealed that one of her favorite tattoos that Pete got for her read: “My girl is a lawyer.”
Speaking more about the fact that her boyfriend scarred his skin, Kim explained Pete’s reasoning, saying he wanted something that’s there that he can’t get rid of. While in the process of removing his arm and neck tattoos, Pete wanted to not be able to get rid of it or to cover it up.
