Ashanti Says Irv Gotti Has Flat Out Lied
Ashanti recently sat down with Angie Martinez on her podcast to discuss everything including Irv Gotti and The Murder Inc documentary. In this documentary, Irv detailed his relations with Ashanti. Ashanti finally addresses everything we’ve been wondering about for years!
Ashanti claims that “Irv Gotti has flat out lied about a lot of things.” She said she didn’t understand that “when you know you are lying & you keep lying” when referencing Irv Gotti. She also stated that Irv Gotti has his side and his version of things. After their fall out, she hasn’t really spoken to him in about a decade. She stated after he felt he could no longer control her; he started bad mouthing her and saying she wasn’t loyal. She also mentioned that when she started dating Nelly, Irv would start throwing death threats around to people around her.
Recently, Irv Gotti claimed he came up with the song “Happy” in the shower after they were done hooking up. Ashanti states that “she doesn’t know anything about that, and that she came up with the song in the car at her cousin’s campus after an event.” Although she said she had love for him, she never fully claimed or denied the relationship.
