Rapper Jeezy And ‘The Real’s’ Jeannie Mai Go Public With Their Relationship
After months of speculation, it’s been confirmed that rapper Jeezy and The Real‘s Jeannie Mai are an item. The rapper and television host both recently took to Instagram to go public with their relationship, less than a week after People magazine confirmed that the two were a couple at Jeezy’s inaugural SnoBall Gala.

On Wednesday (Sept. 4), Jeezy shared a close-up shot of the pair on Instagram with his left hand tightly held by both of Mai’s hands. “She love when I talk dat fly $h*t #wcw,” Jeezy wrote in the caption of the photo letting his 3.9 million followers know that Jeannie Mai is his “women crush Wednesday.”
On Wednesday (Sept. 4), Jeannie Mai also took to Instagram to share a photo of the new couple. The two were “Boo’d Up” on the beach, like Ella Mai’s hit song. “$h*t…hello Hunnay took on a whole new meaning,” Mai wrote.
During Jeezy’s SnoBall Gala, which was in an effort to raise funds for his non-profit Street Dreamz, the two entered the event arm-in-arm and were “all smiles through the night,” as a rep for Jeezy told People.
Jeannie Mai supported her new beau from the audience while he received his second Phoenix Award for contributing to the youth in Atlanta. He also celebrated the release of his latest album, TM 104: Legend of the Snowman.
Back in January, the two sparked relationship rumors when Malika Haqq shared a photo of them together alongside herself and then-boyfriend OT Genasis, Lori Harvey, and Trey Songz. The following week, on an episode of The Real, Mai shared that she had been spending tons of quality time with Jeezy.
“Jeezy and I hang out,” she said. “He’s very special to me, so we don’t really have a label to define what it is we’re doing. We’re just having a good time together.” Mai’s relationship with Jeezy is the first since the TV host’s split from her estranged husband Freddy Harteis. The two were married for a decade.
