HBO’s Upcoming Docuseries ‘Black and Missing’ Releases Trailer: Watch
HBO has dropped the trailer for their docuseries Black and Missing which focuses on Black missing persons cases.
The trailer poses a striking statistic, “African Americans remain missing four times longer than White Americans” and the docuseries clearly hopes to change that.
Emmy Award winners Geeta Gandbhir and Soledad O’Brien will lead as executive producers of the project as the docuseries will feature interviews from experts in the field including law officers and historians as well as intimate conversations with families and loved ones of the missing women. The series will also highlight activists’ and volunteers’ efforts in these kinds of cases.
Black And Missing will premiere on HBO with two back-to-back episodes on Nov. 23 followed by the release of the remaining pair of episodes on Nov. 24. All episodes will be available to stream after airing on HBO Max.
