DeLand is about 3 hours from where I live in St. Petersburg. This is the 3rd plane crash in Florida this month.

Another plane crashed this month and it happened on February 1st in Clearwater. A plane crashed into a mobile home and took the lives of 3 people. Reports tell us the pilot reported that the engine had failed and was three miles from the nearest runway.

The pilot was the only person on board of the aircraft. The pilot and two people who were on the ground were killed.
