How did WalletHub Determine these rankings?
WalletHub took 200 of the most populated cities in the United States and compared them across 4 key dimensions. St. Patrick’s Day traditions, Costs, Safety & Accessibility, and St Patrick’s Day Weather. Within those dimensions, they looked at 15 different metrics such as Parades, Irish populations, Irish pubs and restaurants per capita, access to bars, beer prices, and more.
The metrics were graded on a 100-point scale. Then, the city’s weighted average was used to calculate the overall score to create the rankings.
