Huge Tampa Bay Empanada Festival Happening This Weekend
One of the best things about living in Tampa Bay is that there’s always something to do. This weekend, the Tampa Bay Empanada Festival is back for its second annual 2 day event.
This Saturday, April 6th, and Sunday, April 7th, the Tampa Bay Empanada Festival is taking over Perry Harvey Sr. Park in downtown Tampa for a family-friendly affair. Join in on the festivities with blends of different music, vendors, and cocktails for the adult crowd.
What to expect at the Tampa Bay Empanada Festival
The Tampa Bay Empanada Festival is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. It’s going to be packed full of delicious empanadas and activities right in the heart of downtown Tampa. Guests can choose from over 30 different kinds of empanadas from over 12 vendors.
You’ll find vendors like Nonna’s Artisan Empanadas, Dunedin’s Fusion Streat Eatery, Maxi Artisanal Empanadas, Pete’s Place, and more. The vendor list is being updated daily on their website.
If you’re looking to get a little mid-day happy hour in, you can find a selection of different craft beers and cocktails to enjoy. The local DJs will supply the music while guests enjoy food, games, and fun.
How much does it cost to attend the Tampa Bay Empanada Festival?
There are 2 different options when it comes to packages offered. The El Jefe VIP package is $45 at presale and $60 the day of at the gates.
With the El Jefe VIP Package, you get one-day entry into the event and VIP area, unlimited margaritas, one empanada from any vendor, a private lounge, cocktail and spirit samples, and more. You must be 21+ to purchase the El Jefe.
The general admission speaks for itself. You receive basic access to the event for $5 on presale or $7 at the gates, the day of. Kids that are ages 12 and under are FREE!
Dogs are allowed at the event, but make sure you bring a leash. All dogs must be leashed and owners must clean up after and hydrate their pups.
