Here is the richest man in Florida! Ladies he is cute if you’re into the more mature gentleman. He is also single and hopefully ready to mingle. My favorite thing about him is his baby blue eyes. Sadly he does not live here In St. Petersburg, but down in Miami.

Every year, Forbes makes a list of the 400 wealthiest people in the United States. This list includes people who have gained wealth through investments, sports, retail, software, real estate, food and family ties. To make the list last year you needed to make at least $2.9B.

The richest person in Florid made this list and he goes by the name of Ken Griffin. He is the founder of Citadel. Citadel is a Miami based hedge fund firm. Griffin has a net worth of  $35.4 billion. According to his biography, Griffin has contributed tens of millions of dollars to political candidates and causes. He seemingly has conservative values.

Where Was Ken Griffin Born?

Griffin was born in Daytona Beach but grew up in Boca Raton. He went high school at Boca Raton Community High school were he was the president of the Math Club.  When he was a teenager he thought he would grow up to be a businessman or lawyer.

After graduating college in 1989, Griffin moved to Chicago to work with Frank Meyer who is the founder of Glenwood Capital Investments. In 1990, Griffin founded Citadel LLC with assets under management of $4.5M. Fast forward to today and he has a net worth of $35.4B.

Here is the richest self-made woman in Florida! I love articles like this because it makes me feel so empowered. Now I wont tell you who that woman is yet, Just know she is from Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale is about 4 hours from where I live in St. Petersburg.

Forbes created this list of the richest self-made women in America. How did these women obtain their money? According to the Forbes website, these 100 women have obtained their wealth writing books, selling beauty products, investing in the biometrics field and more!  All together the women on this list are worth $124B, and that is up 12% from 2022!

Building supply distributor Diane Hendricks! She remains number one for the 5th year in a row. She has a net worth of $15B. If you don’t know what she does, she is the chair of ABC supply. ABC supply is one of the largest wholesale distributors of roofing, siding and windows in America.

Hendricks cofounded the business with her late husband, Ken. Now before she met her husband Ken she was selling custom homes for a builder. So she was making money before she even got into her relationship.
