Florida Mother And Children Die After Collision With Alligator
Heartbreaking news to report today, as a mother and her two children have died after their vehicle struck an alligator while driving.
The accident occurred in Orangeburg, South Carolina overnight.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the mom was driving on Interstate 95 when she was unable to avoid hitting the alligator.
At the time the incident occurred, the alligator was in the middle of the road.
According to Fox Carolina, after the vehicle hit the alligator, it then veered off the side of the road, struck a tree and caught on fire.
All three people inside the vehicle died during the ordeal.
The three individuals have been identified as 24-year-old Amber Stanley, her son Jack, 4, and her daughter Autumn, 2.
The family was from Callahan, Florida.
