What To Know About Disney’s New Passholder Programs
Good news for Disney fanatics! Walt Disney World announced on Thursday that they are starting to resume sales for annual passholders with 3 new programs, and fans will be able to buy them soon. Disney paused the sale of annual passes back in November 2021. They’ve been working through multiple park changes, like the reservation system, before opening up passholder sales again. Starting April 20th, 4 new passholder program’s will be available. But what’s the difference between the passes?
For starters, 3 of the new Disney passholder programs are only available to Florida residents. That’s a win for us! Prices range from $399 to $1,399. According to Disney’s website, here’s what each pass includes:
Disney Pixie Dust Pass:
If you can get time off during the weekdays, this is the pass for you! Here’s what’s included:
- Eligible for Florida residents only.
- Reservation-based admission on most weekdays.
- Subject to blackout dates during holiday periods.
- 20% off select dining and merch.
- $399 or $19/month for 1 year (after a $205 down payment).
Disney Pirate Pass:
This pass has a bit more park availability. So if you can only go on the weekends, this might be the best pass for you. Here’s what’s included:
- Eligible for Florida residents only.
- Reservation-based admission for most days, but blackout dates during the holidays will still apply.
- Make and hold up to 4 theme park reservations.
- 20% off select dining and merch.
- $749 or $50/month after a $205 deposit.
- Available starting April 20.
Disney Sorcerer Pass:
This pass is pretty similar to the Pirate Pass there are only a few differences.
- Eligible for Florida residents or Vacation Club members.
- Make and hold up to 5 theme park reservations.
- Can get in most days, but blackout dates during peak times and holidays still apply.
- $969 or $69/month after the $205 down payment.
- Available starting April 20
Disney Incredi-Pass:
This is for the Disney adults who cannot get enough of the park. If you enjoy going to Disney multiple times a month, this would be the pass for you.
- Eligible for all guests, not just Florida residents.
- Still need to book a reservation for admission, but there are no blackout dates.
- Make and hold up to 5 theme park reservations.
- Same discounts as the other passes
- $1,399 or $108/month after a $205 deposit. Which is very pricey, but if you’re a frequent park goer a single day, single park ticket costs the same as the monthly payment. At least with this option, you have unlimited days to spend at all the parks.
- Available April 20.
