Florida Man Whips Out Machete At Karaoke Night

A Florida man pulled out an 18-inch machete at a bar after being denied a karaoke song. Brevard County deputies got to Kennedy’s Lamp Post Tavern in Cape Canaveral shortly before 2 p.m. and found Travis Jordan with bloodshot and glassy eyes, smelling strongly of alcohol and having trouble standing.

The sheriff’s office said, “Apparently our friend Mr. Jordan here, didn’t fully understand the rules of karaoke, as when the stage lights turned off, he tried to force them back on by pulling out a machete he had concealed on him, and demanding to do an encore!!”

 

 

Luckily an employee was able to convince him peacefully hand over the machete and know one was hurt. According to the sheriff’s office, Jordan admitted to busting out the machete and that he keeps it on him “because he always needs to stay alert.” [Source: Foxnews.com]

I have never skinny dipped but I did work at a resort where it wouldn’t be frowned upon. That resort is located in Largo, Florida and every week I would be tempted but backed out. The resort I worked at did not make this list but there is a place in Florida that did.  Have you ever wanted to go skinny dipping? If you answered yes, then you’ve came to the right article.

According to their website, their “study compared 100 nude beach spots based on the following categories:  safety, weather, beach quality, and hotel cost (with seven data points),We then ranked the top 25 nude beaches globally, with the best location per country.”

Below you will find places in the United States that made the list. Some of these will shock you. Yes, There is a Michigan spot on the list. I was raised in Michigan and it’s illegal to skinny dip in that state. Some of the locations on this list are clothing optional, the others are not.  See if your favorite Florida Beach Made the list below.

  • Washougal River, WA

    Washougal river is apparently a great place to sunbath. It’s also great for swimming, but you have to make sure you bring chairs and blankets to sit on the rocks. Parking is always limited. I’m sure people only skinny dip here in the summer and when nobody else is around.

  • Mazo Beach, WI

    Mazo Beach made the list, but apparently it’s family friendly. The Beach is private so maybe people wait until night at this location.

  • Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, MI

    This location features 60K acres of forest, waterfalls, Lake Superior shoreline, rivers and more. Its  Michigan’s largest state park and is a very popular destination for swimming, camping and hiking.  Remember it is illegal to skinny dip in Michigan.

  • Black’s Beach, CA

    Black’s Beach is very secluded and it’s probably why this location made this list. It’s beneath the bluffs of Torrey Pines on the Pacific Ocean in  San Diego.

  • Little Beach, HI

    It is very legal to go skinny dipping on this beach, because its clothing optional. It’s been clothing optional for over 70 years.

  • Strawberry Hot Springs, CO

    At this hot springs clothing is optional after dark. They have great outdoor areas, open-air pools, and plenty of sunshine.

  • Haulover Beach, FL

    Haulover Beach is one of Florida’s best known public nude beaches! Never been to this beach which I located in Miami. I may have to take a trip one day.
