Lakeland Woman Hits And Fatally Kills 4 People Who Were Changing Tire On I75
Reports are telling us that 4 people were Killed after being hit on I75. There were seven of them standing on the side of a highway when they were hit by a vehicle. Officers say the woman who was driving the vehicle is from Lakeland. The car was traveling south on the highway when she drifted onto the shoulder, hit the truck and the pedestrians. The four individuals died at the scene. No word on if the woman was under the influence, and they are still investigating what happened.
