Should The Tampa Inmates Who Rescued A Corrections Officer Get Time Knocked Off Their Sentence?
Have you seen this video? I want to know your thoughts on it. Last month a group of inmates rescued a Hillsborough deputy, and now some people think they should get time off of their sentences. In the video below you can see the moment the inmates came to the officers rescue after another inmate attacked her inside of a jail pod. On June 7th Deputy Jimenez was called to the restroom to do a well being check on an inmate named April Colvin. As Jimenez was walking towards the restroom another inmate,Bridgette Harvey walked behind the deputy and wrapped a pillowcase around her neck and tried to choke her. Soon after, several inmates came to the deputy’s rescue. Reports tell us that the inmates removed the pillow case and freed Jimenz’s neck. Bridgett Harvey now faces a charge of aggravated battery on a law enforcement with a weapon, escape from confinement and introduction of contraband into a detention facility. Both women were apparently trying to escape from prison! An investigation is ongoing. On The video which we got from instagram user @Tampalatest, you can see comments from residents in Tampa saying the inmates who saved the deputy should get Tim off of their sentences. Instagram user more.juice.please commented: They gotta give the other ones time off their sentence. What do you think?
