Shoutout to Outcoast.com! They have created a list of the top 5 haunted houses in Florida, and two of them are in the Tampa Bay Area.
- First on the list is Scream-A-Geddon Horror Park which is in Dade City Florida. This haunted attraction even has the option to add Zombie Paintball. There are three types of tickets you could get. General admission, VIP fast pass and super VIP Fast pass. Tickets are cheaper online. At the box office they are $5.00 more.
2. Coming in at number two is the 13th Floor Haunted House. This is in Jacksonville and has 3 different attractions. They also have Axe Throwing, A Bar and Mini Escape Games. There are three different types of tickets and they include General Admission, Skip the line and fast pass.
3. Coming in at number 3 is the Mortem Manor Haunted Attraction! It is Florida’s only year round haunted house. Also rated one of the scariest haunted houses in America by the travel channel. It’s located in Kissimmee and they have a simulator where you can experience being burned alive. Tickets start at just $15.
4. Coming in at number 4 is A Petrified Forest Scare Trail which is located in Altamonte Springs. The petrified forest scare trail includes three terrifying trails for one price. There is a backstage tour pass which will allow you to get to scare other patrons that come on the trail. There is also laser tag, food trucks and vendors.
5. Last but not least comes in Sir Henry’ Haunted Trail which is located in Plant City. At this haunted trail you can experience escape games and laster tag. Tickets must be purchased online in advanced. Season passes are available for seasonal events with admission for every night that comes with front-of-the-line access.
