Free Kid Friendly Easter Events Happening In Tampa This Weekend
There is so much going on in Tampa for easter this weekend. Are you and the family looking for something to do? Are you on a tight budget? Well, you have come to the right place.
There are several events happening, where it’s going to cost you nothing. Not only in Tampa, but also areas nearby. I remember getting dressed up and going Easter egg hunting when I was a child . Also taking pictures with the easter bunny, I really use to love that. Below are free events for the entire family to enjoy.
Downtown Tampa: The Eggsploration event takes place on Saturday from 9-1pm. Thousands of plastic eggs will be hidden. Each age group will be given a specific eggs to find and redeem to win prizes . If your 18 ad older you could win a grand prize downtown staycation.mThe Easter event will also include photos with the Easter bunny and food trucks.
Spa Beach Park: This free family friendly event will take place in Pinellas County at 615 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg. This is the first year for the Easter egg hunt at the St.Pete Pier. It starts at 3 pm on Sunday. More than 20,000 eggs will be hidden throughout Spa Beach Park. They will also have special golden eggs which will be filled with prizes like a membership to the St. Pete Museum of History, Doc Fords gift basket and more.
Sarasota: The Newtown Spring Fling Festival And Parade is taking place on Dr. Martin Luther King Way between Osprey Avenue and Coconut Avenue. The city of Sarasota is doing this event between 2-7 pm. The festival is free and inspired by the Newtown Easter Parade, which began in 1960s. The event will include a festival with food, vendors, trucks, and live music.
