3-Year-Old Florida Girl Missing After Taking A Trip To Walmart
According to WFLA, there is a 3-year-old Florida girl missing after taking a trip to Walmart. The toddler went to a Seffner Walmart with her grandmother Monday, but it wasn’t reported until early Wednesday morning. Seffner is about 40 minutes from where I live in St. Petersburg.
Sophia Lovinginggood was last seen at the Walmart located at 11720 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Sophia was with her grandmother Veronica Lovinggood. Police say Veronica told her mother that she was on her way to bring Sophia home. Sadly, neither Sophia or her Grandmother have been seen ever since.
What Was Sophia Wearing
Hillsborough County Sheriffs say Sophia was last seen wearing a denim jacket, purple flower slides and a lime green dress. Her hair is in braids (4 braids). She has a scar on her left shoulder and a distinctive birthmark on her right shoulder.
Sheriff Chad Chronister released a statement saying: “Our top priority is the safe return of this young child. We are working diligently to locate this little girl. We urge anyone with information to come forward and assist us in bringing her home safely.”
If you have information about Sophia or her Grandmother please call The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 813-247-8200.
“Why Was Sophia Reported Missing On Wednesday?”
I know you were probably asking yourself this same question. It’s weird because this should have been reported the same day her grandmother never showed up to drop her off. That was Monday, and Im wondering why they waited 2 days to report the incident.
Also curious as to why a picture of the grandmother hasn’t been released to the news outlets as well. The focus seems to only be on Sophia which is understandable. I just feel it would be helpful to have a picture and description of her grandmother!
Praying for their safe return. I will keep you updated on the story if I hear more. If you do before me, email me Babs@wild941.com
