Jealous Florida Senior Viciously Bites Husband in the Stomach, According to Reports
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 23: A person puts a letter into a USPS mailbox during Phase 4 of re-opening following restrictions imposed to slow the spread of coronavirus on August 23, 2020 in New York City. The fourth phase allows outdoor arts and entertainment, sporting events without fans and media production.
Yes, you read the headline right. “Jealous Florida Senior Viciously Bites Husband in the Stomach, According to Reports.” His wife was upset and did not like that he was sent a postcard from the woman he was in a relationship with 60 years ago. She was so upset that she did the unthinkable. This horrific incident happened in North Miami Beach which is about 4 hours from where I live in St. Petersburg.
Florida Woman Tried To Unalive Her Husband
WFLA reported that a North Miami beach woman tried to kill her husband after he received a postcard from his ex-girlfriend from 60 years ago. Police were called to a home Sunday afternoon after a domestic dispute turned physical.
Bertha Yalter and her husband have been married for 52 years. She was very upset when he received that postcard and tried to smother him with a pillow! She also bit him. Her husband who is very fragile had serious bruises and cuts on his stomach area. He was also bleeding where she bit him.
The incident was all captured on a cell phone. According to court documents, Bertha Yalter is now facing charges of aggravated battery on a person 65 years or older, tampering with the victim, and attempted second-degree murder. Are they divorcing? There’s no further information on that, but I will keep you updated. There is also no word on what the postcard even said.
Do You Get Jealous When Your Partner’s Exes Reach Out To Them?
I would be upset but I probably would laugh it off if it was someone from that long ago. Even if it was a current ex, I would still never try to kill my husband over something like this. I am happy that no one was actually killed in this incident. Feel free to email me: Babs@wild941.com
Which Florida City Made The List With Highest Murder Rates In U.S.
There’s lots to love about the Sunshine State, but we’re also notorious for the craziest crimes. One Florida city even ranked in the top 15 for highest murder rates in America. It’s not really a list we love to see Florida on, but we can’t say we’re not surprised with all the insane stuff that happens here.
Our friends at neighboorhoodscout.com ranked the top 30 cities in the country with the highest murder rates per 1,000 residents. They condensed their research by including cities with 25,000 or more people. They collected their data by the number of murders reported to the FBI to have occurred in each city, and the population of each city. The city population data comes straight from the US Bureau of the Census at the time of each analysis. For instance, the 2022 list population uses 2020 population figures. The 2021 list uses 2019 figures, and so forth.
There were 14 new cities making the list this year. “The newcomer on this list with the highest murder rate is Saginaw, MI. The number of murders in Saginaw more than doubled from the previous year.” Thankfully (and surprisingly) only one Florida city was ranked in the research.
