I can’t believe we are kicking off the month with another plane has crash. This comes after 8 plane crashes last month. This incident happened in Key Largo which is about 5 hours from where I live in St. Petersburg. Many Florida residents including myself are concerned. Why so many plane crashes? Luckily nobody was injured in this situation, but it is still very concerning.

8 Plane Crashes Happened In Florida Last Month
When I saw reports that there were 8 plane crashes last month, I thought I was reading a false article. Nope, turns out that this is true. The first plane crash happened at a Clearwater mobile home park which killed 3 people. The next plane crash happened on I-75 which killed 2 people. The third one happened in Deland and luckily nobody died or was seriously injured.
The next 5 Crashes that happened in Florida in last month also had no casualties. I don’t know what’s going on, but most of the crashes involved small planes. Does this scare you from ever flying on them? I know more car accidents happen on a daily basis. So technically flying on a plane is still safer. I hope they get to the bottom of why there are so many plane crashes, stay safe.
Here Are The 4 Deadliest Intersections In Florida
I’ve had major anxiety ever since my car accident last year. So seeing this article triggers me and I most likely will avoid these intersections. “Here are the 4 deadliest intersections in Florida.” One of these intersections is in Bradenton which is about 28 miles from where I live in St. Petersburg.
What Is The Most Deadliest Intersection In The United States
According to the Fang Law Firm, The deadliest intersection in the United States is Lalor Street and Route 129. This intersection is located in Mercer County, New Jersey. 9 fatalities have occurred at this intersection. It is so scary driving because not only do you have to drive for you but you have to drive for everyone else as well. Have to always keep your eye on the other cars as well.
According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nearly a quarter of all the country’s fatal crashes can happen at intersections. Fang Law Firm used their data to determine the countries most dangerous intersections and why they are deadly.
According the Fang law firm, there are two big factors behind the country’s deadliest intersections. Most of these are state highways without limited access and secondary roads. These type of roads have signaled or signed crossing with fewer slower local streets. Interchanges, driveway exits and pedestrian paths were excluded from this study.
Populations with less than 2500 people had a irregularly high amount of fatal crashes. These areas are home to 18 percent of the population in the United States but 36% of the countries deadliest intersections are located there. Road signs are older and speed tends to be higher in rural areas compared to urban and suburban areas.
