Florida Woman Arrested After Sexually Assaulting Her Brother-In-Law And Having His Baby
Yes, you read the headline right. This is a crazy situation. “Florida woman arrested after sexually assaulting her brother-in-law and having his baby. This horrible incident happened in Monroe County which is about 196 miles from where I live in St. Petersburg.
Florida Woman Raped Her Husbands Brother
According to the arrest affidavit, Amanda Brooks has been arrested and charged with felony sexual assault. Those aren’t her only charges either. She has also been charged with giving false information to a law enforcement officer regarding a felony and knowingly giving false information to a law enforcement officer after the incident that began to unfold nearly 10 years ago.
In June of last year, Brooks called the police and said she had been sexually assaulted by her husband and his younger brother. She even gave police a list of events that happened and had police believing she was the victim.
In July however, the mother of Brooks’ Brother-in-law contacted the police and told them a different story. The woman told police that Brooks was the one who raped her son. Her son also has autism and she said there was no way he could have consented to sex.
The Story Gets More Bizarre
The Brother-in-law tells police that Brooks forced herself on to him several times, and she eventually got pregnant. DNA test were done and the brother-in-law is the biological father. Brooks’ Husband told police that he and his wife were not sexually active while she was sexually assaulting his brother. It wasn’t because he didn’t want to. He told police she was “withholding” all while having an ovulation tracker.
Police said they could not find evidence to support any of Brooks’ claims and an arrest warrant was issued. She was arrested Dec 10th and remains in Monroe County Jail. By the way, Brooks gave birth to the child on Jan. 9, 2023.
