Ice Cube Shares New Details On Potential 4th “Friday” Movie

 It’s been 22 years since we last saw Craig and Day-Day in a Friday movie and fans, and even cast members, have been hopeful for another sequel from the cult classic movie franchise. Well, Ice Cube may have just given fans hope for another movie soon. In a recent interview with our very own Orlando & The Freakshow, Ice Cube sat with the morning crew and talked mostly about his Big 3 basketball league that came to town this past weekend until, co-host Richie Ortiz asked the question that was on all our minds. Will we get another Friday movie. The room stood in suspense as we awaited Cube to answer the question because it’s been so long since we got the last Friday film, and even after not putting a 4th installment out, the demand to see one is very much there. The room was relieved to hear Cube say that next Friday is in much better shape than ever before. Apparently, with a new regime at the film studio that housed the last 3 Friday movies, it’s a high possibility that we get to see Craig and the crew on the big screen. Cube didn’t get into to many specifics of the who would be in the movie, but when asked if Chris Tucker would reprise his role as the fan favorite, Smokey, Cube simply said “if he wants to,” Leaving the opportunity on the table is Tucker is willing to play everyone’s favorite stoner. We just have to wait patiently for further news from Ice Cube on when everything will be in place to bring the ideas to paper and then to the big screen, but just know we will be in line at the theaters if this does come to fruition. My prediction for the story for this potential 4th Friday film, is Craig being a family man, taking over his dad’s dog business and Ice Cube’s real son (O’Shae Jackson Jr.) will play Craig’s son. I also think Mike Epps will be back and some of the funny social media comedians will have roles in this film as well. That’s my take.
