Katt Williams Is Coming To Tampa After Announcing New Tour

If you missed him last time and told yourself “Don’t worry, I’ll wait”, I got some good news for you! Katt Williams is coming to Tampa to perform live, and we may have a way for you to get tickets earlier than everyone else. 😉

Comedy legend Katt Williams is bringing his brand, new Heaven on Earth Tour to Amalie Arena in Tampa on February 15, 2025. Grab your +1 for a night of side-splitting comedy and hollering laughs. Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday, May 15 at 10am on | Pre-Sale Code: KW25. It’s hard to think of a person that is more talked about than Katt Williams. It doesn’t matter whether he’s on a podcast declaring war on other comedians or on a stage spilling out all the tea, everyone just can’t get enough of the pimp and his chronicles. The announcement of the Heaven on Earth Tour comes just a few months after his viral podcast moment with Shannon Sharpe. Talk about striking the iron while it’s still hot.

Williams made comments about several comedians, rappers, and actors in his with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay. Williams called out Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Kevin Hart, Ludacris, Ricky Smiley, Tiffany Haddish, and more in the nearly three-hour conversation. As the interview has been making rounds on social media, with the original interview already amassing over 14 million views. Katt also announced recently that he is working on a new project using vocals from a legendary rapper. In a recent interview with Suge Knight’s Collect Call podcast, Williams said that he is releasing a Tupac Shakur posthumous album. there is no additional information on the project: such as a potential release date, other guest features, or if the project is tied to a visual component like a biopic.

Rich grew up in the Bronx, NY but moved to Tampa in 2006 to attend the University of Tampa. Even though he completed 4 years at the University for Sports Management, Ortiz realized his true passion for radio after taking a couple of classes to fulfill his communications minor and volunteering at UT's WUTT radio station as a sports director. Rich also worked at several clubs in Tampa as a host/promoter where he would meet and work alongside Davy Rolando, who would be the one who would help him get a job at WiLD 94.1. From there, Rich worked his way up from Promotions assistant to promotions coordinator, to eventually full-time on-air. Rich loves to write about his favorite Tampa food spots, concert reviews, and the WiLDest Florida man/woman stories.

7 Great Places To Eat Near Amalie Arena

Heading to a Lightning game this season or going to see a show at Amalie Arena? Here are 7 great places to eat that’s near Amalie Arena. All of these locations are within walking distance, but if you don’t feel like walking, hop on the TECO street car or use an electric scooter. Whether you’re in the mood for some bar bites or want to sit down and have a nice dinner, here are our recommendations. Depending on the event, you may want to get to these places a little earlier (around 5p) or make a reservation to secure your spot!

Downtown Tampa is constantly changing. It seems like each week there’s a new trendy restaurant that we must try! Of course, there are the staple Tampa restaurants like Hattricks. There are also many options at Sparkman Wharf, but we narrowed that down to our favorite spot. If all else fails, you can always go to the Publix on Channelside Dr for a pub sub. Honorary Mention

It would be silly for us not to include the new Yard House in this list. The new trendy restaurant recently opened directly across the street from Amalie Arena (where the old Ferg’s Live used to be). They have 130 beers on tap and some really tasty appetizers for a pregame snack. But beware, unless you make a reservation or get there before 4 pm, you likely won’t find a seat before your event. You should also know that they do not run their happy hour specials on event days. So no half-off apps and discounted beer on game/concert days.
