St. Pete Beach Restaurant ‘Toasted Monkey’ Tests Positive For Hep A
Well, this is shocking! A positive case of Hepatitis A has been discovered in a person who worked at The Toasted Monkey bar and grill in St. Pete Beach!!!
If you visited the restaurant between October 17 and October 28, 2018 and you haven’t been vaccinated for Hepatitis A, should get the vaccine as soon as possible.
This is the second restaurant this month that has been forced to shut down because of Hep A in the Tampa Bay area. Hamburger Mary’s in Ybor had a very similar issue a couple weeks ago and hundreds of people had to be vaccinated because of the outbreak.
If you have received the vaccine, you don’t need to take any action.
