Now That Marijuana Is Legal In Some Places, Welcome To “Weed Wednesday”

First there was “Taco Tuesday” but now with the legalization of marijuana in many places, pot dispensaries are expecting “Weed Wednesday” to become a thing.

Many in the cannabis industry have taken note that sales skyrocket as smokers stock up on the day before Thanksgiving, with one company revealing that their sales last year doubled on what they called “Green Wednesday”.

On Tuesday, legalization takes effect in Massachusetts. Dispensaries in the state say that shortages could happen from the demand.

But it’s not just smoked marijuana sales that increase. Edibles are a hot commodity for those heading to family functions, according to California’s Cannacraft.
