State Department Issues Travel Advisory for the Bahamas
If you’re planning a trip to the Bahamas you’ll want to hear this, the state department has issued a travel advisory for the island.
The warning has been issued for the islands of New Providence and Grand Bahama, home of the city of Freeport.
Authorities of the United States are prohibited from coming to the sand trap area in Nassau and the state department is warning travelers about taking excursions because many of the watercraft aren’t maintained and are unsafe.
The warning says Jet ski operators have been known to rape tourist; and going “over the hill” and to Fish Fry at Arawak Cay in Nassau should be prohibited at night.
