Teacher At Hillsborough County Middle School Accused Of Slapping Student In Class
A middle school teacher in Hillsborough County slapped one of her students in class and it all happened because he cussed.
Sheila Vakili, the 63-year-old teacher works at Giunta Middle School in Riverview where she slapped a 13-year-old male student in the face.
The student cussed during class and Vakili thought it was about her so she slapped him in the face.
She hit the boy “with enough force to cause redness and swelling.”
Vakili was charged with simple child abuse.
