Snoop Dogg Says Women’s Soccer Team Should Make More Bank
On the heels of the U.S. women’s soccer team winning their fourth championship, Snoop Dogg has come forward to say giving the victors a World Cup isn’t enough; they should be given more money.
In an online video, Snoop Dogg complains that each player on the women’s team earned a $90,000 bonus for winning the World Cup — while the players on the men’s team would have made $500,000. “Man, pay them ladies!” Snoop says. “The women should be getting $500,000 per athlete. Snoop Dogg says so.”
While Snoop Dogg’s heart may be in the right place, his figures are a little off, according to TMZ. The women actually went home with $260,000 per player, while the men would have made $1.1 million each.
