Emily Ratajkowski Praised for Showing Armpit Hair in Photoshoot

Model Emily Ratajkowski is featured in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
The 28-year-old posed in a black lace bra with her armpit hair grown out.
The “Easy” actress wrote an essay in conjunction with the photoshoot that discusses her feminism as well as what makes her feel sexy.
“A woman becomes too powerful and thus threatening when she takes strength from embracing her sex. Therefore we insist on shaming; we insist that a woman loses something when she flaunts or embraces her sexuality,” wrote Ratajkowski.
Ratajkowski spoke specifically about her armpit hair saying, “On any given day, I tend to like to shave, but sometimes letting my body hair grow out is what makes me feel sexy.”
