‘Aladdin’ Sequel In The Works At Disney

It should come as no surprise to movie-goers that a movie that made $1 billion at the box office is getting a sequel.
The sequel to Aladdin is in the works.
If you recall, there were animated films released: Aladdin which originally came out in theaters in 1992 and was followed by sequels Aladdin 2: The Return of Jafar in 1994 and Aladdin and the King of Thieves in 1996.
The live-action was so successful worldwide making $1 billion, so why not do a sequel?!
It is unknown at this time if Guy Ritchie is returning as director.
