Florida Mom Murdered During Daughter’s Zoom Class
The murder of a Florida woman on Wednesday was broadcast over Zoom on her daughter’s first day of at-home school.
The incident occurred at about 8 a.m., just after the woman’s 10-year-old daughter signed in to start class. According to Martin County Sheriff William Snyder, Donald Williams, 27, entered the home and began arguing with 32-year-old Maribel Rosado Morales before pulling out a gun and shooting her “multiple times” — right in front of her four kids and their two cousins, Snyder says.
Also witnessing the crime was the girl’s teacher, who watched in horror as the disturbing scene unfolded. “The teacher said she mutes her button so nobody has to hear it, and then she sees the 10-year-old put her hands up to her ears,” Snyder says, adding the feed cut out immediately afterward because one of the bullets struck the computer.
Williams has been arrested and is facing a first-degree murder charge, Snyder says.
