Possible Hostage Situation At Ubisoft Montreal Offices
Update: Montreal Police confirms the 911 call was a hoax call that prompted the emergency response from police and “no threat has been identified.”
According to a developing story from the Post Millennial, there is a possible hostage situation at Ubisoft Montreal. Police are on the scene at the game developer’s office in the Mile End area of the city. Various Twitter posts have been made in regards to the situation. Many news outlets also released photos and videos of what appears to be Ubisoft employees congregating on the roof of the building. However, it is unclear if that is under the directive of authorities or an internal protocol.

Eric Pope, a Senior Community Developer for HyperScape posted on Twitter that he was on a call with people in the office when they all had to abruptly leave.
